A-Z Blog: S is for Scolecite

Scolecite is a tectosilicate mineral belonging to the zeolite group; it is a hydrated calcium silicate. Scolecite was first described from Kaiserstuhl in Baden-Wurttemberg in 1813. It is found in Berufjördur near Djupivogr, Suour-Mulasysla, Iceland, India, California, Scotland and Brazil.

A gentle high vibration stone, Scolecite is perfect for users who are just beginning to use higher vibration, powerful stones. Scolecite connects the heart to the third eye and allows for calming of frenetic energies so that one can focus on creating a sacred, calm space in which to work. Use for MS and other muscle disorders.
